white wednesday

It is white wednesday day!; and yesterday did these!
I was brought up in a very religious family! So what you see above were extremely common around my family's house since there were priests and nuns! In fact we used to pray every single day!
As i grew i got a bit aside of all religion! My opinion slightly changed and i stopped going to the church! One thing remained however! I love religious pictures! I got these antique ones from one of my aunts and as i have loads of them i decided to try and get them in a they can be easily displayed whenever one feels. I do love the result! What do you think?! I'll have some selling too! - http://www.unpeuplusjolieatwork.blogspot.com/

Hi Rosa,

I so enjoyed hearing from you again! Hope you are well again!! It think it will not be long before there are more flowers in Portugal as well. It must be, temperatures are higher in Portugal then Holland ;-)! The religious cards you made are lovely. I have several of them as well. I was brought up in a catholic family too. My grandmothers bible, which I inherited, is filled with these little cards. I never had a proper look at them before, but you are right, they are beautiful!

Wish you a happy Easter!

Lieve groet, Madelief

Hi Rosa, your pictures are very pretty! I never lived in a religious family and I also never thougth I could buy a religious picture - but last Sunday, at fleamarket, I did! (you can see it in my next posting, tomorrow).
I hope the terrible week you wrote about is over now and you feel well and happy again!!!(?)
Thank you so much for your nice words on my blog, sweetie! I also can understand why your husband wants to be a cat ;o)
Lots of hugs, Traude

PS;: Do you know that it is still "snowing" on your blog?

I always went to church with my grandmother, when I was a little girl, mostly becuase of curiosity. She was and still is very religious!

I haven´t found myself, when it comes to religion. I belive there is something stronger than us, in universe, but if you ask me what, I won´t be able too answer that question.

You made a good job with the pictures!

Hi Rosa,
thanks a lot for your lovely comment! So I discover your great blog. I hope it will be ok when I link you? I would like to come back and see more :-)
I love religious pictures or other things and I also believe, but I don't go to church. Maybe because I didn't grow up in a religious family.
Hugs Yvonne

Oi Rosa! We share the same love for religious images, although I don't go to church either. They turned out beautiful. I'm glad your computer problems are over!
